We won't give your information to a third party
Any information we obtain from you will never be shared with another company.
Keeping your confidence is very important to us. If we use a third party
service (e.g., for processing credit card transactions) we will only work with
reputable firms who keep your information confidential and use it only for the intended purpose.
We do not store your credit card information after a purchase
Your credit card information is only stored temporarily to make the purchase.
After the sale is complete, this information is destroyed. We will take all
appropriate measures to ensure your personal data is secure.
We do use encryption
All purchases are conducted over Secure-Socket Layers (SSL), which is
industry-standard encryption. When you get to the purchase screen, that
closed lockpad icon on the bottom status bar of your browser tells
you any information you submit is protected.
We won't send you emails you don't want
You may receive one-time emails from us when you buy a game, to confirm your
purchase and let you know information regarding the sale. If you join our
opt-in newsletter you will receive occassional
emails from us (and only us), and you can unsubscribe at any time.
If someone gives us your email address with our Tell a Friend program,
you will receive a one-time email. Your email address will never be
handed to a third party.
We do log your visit
We use cookies to identify you as a site visitor and track your progress
through our site. We do log your IP address and note how you found us.
We use this information on an aggregate basis to produce usage statistics.
This tells us on a large scale how people are using our site and how we
can make it better. Neither the cookies, nor the usage statistics contain any
personally-identifiable information.
